How do we know that humans have souls, because some turd came up with an idea one day that, stop wait a tick when we die, we don't just die and rot in a box and get munched on by worms and stuff, but we do in fact float about with a faded look to our bodies. Where do we go then into another body or Heaven and Hell. Who cares if animals have souls it's not like you can have a good old chat with a hamster or your goldfish about the meaning of life. Worry about you not having a soul and be scared about just dieing and there not being anything after life, just death. As that's what they're trying to disguise with all this soul cack anyway.

I believe animals have as much of a soul as people do. I see emotion and intelligence in their eyes, as well as mischief and meanness sometimes. Watching them interact with each other and us, its more then obvious to me that they have their own minds and are sentient.

Since animals perceive pain, nurture young of their own and other species as well as respond to affection, they are sentient beings.
It is very simply concluded, animals do have a spiritual energy or "soul". This affords them a status worthy of dignity and respect by the highest lifeform on Earth, we, humans, who need to treat all animals humanely and with care to not inflict suffering and pain on them. This is possible but everyone must begin to advocate for better treatment of animals and improve animal rights and animal welfare and living conditions.
How can all humans of all ages make drastic improvements to how animals are treated and cared for all over the world as they are worthy of care, love, respect and dignity by humans?

Animals don't need a soul. They were created by God to serve man. The are not judged or tested, because they are special creations of his. All my dogs are in Heaven waiting for me.

Jaded ....made to serve man...where do you come from dear?
I think my cat has a soul and is capable of having feelings. Why would he want to sit on my lap at night to have cuddle, if he deedn't feel the need.
How do I know my cat has a soul? Becuase he shows me love and affection.

They don't have souls. God made them for us to eat and to keep up company. Would be nice to think our kitty cats and puppy dogs go to heaven after they die but they don't......Or so I believe. Animals are for eating. No soul
