Depending on the amount of liability coverage, the amount of coverage for damage to contents, and other factors; the cheapest renters insurance may run as low as $75.00 per year. A more realistic policy is somewhere in the $240.00 per year range.
Good luck with your search for information.

I just saw an ad on the internet, I think it was MSN, and the price was $15.40 per month, for renters Insurance, I would suppose like car insurance other compamnies have other prices, this may have even been low, I remember
paying $21.12 a month about 2 years ago, and for that you get a standard coverage, but if you have a lot of jewelry or expensive stero equipment it would of course go higher.

Mine is about $10.00 a month for $30,000 coverage on my personal property. You can also put riders on the policy for more expensive items for an additional cost to your premium.

It is usually based on a year's coverage - which costs $200 - which is about $16.67/mo.
