I PREFER BLACK OVER WHITE
NIGHT OVER DAY
SET OVER RISE!!!!
I DON'T GET UP EARLY IN THE MORNING TO WATCH A SUNRISE!!!!just pray & sleep....

It all depends on where you live If you are on the west coast or east coast and what the sun is rising or setting over. I Think that sunsets are more colorful, but that might not necessarily be what you like. Most people probably prefer sunsets because they are too pissed off in the morning to enjoy a sunrise. I would say that a sunrise is best viewed from atop a mountain with clouds below.

IMHO They are both just as beautiful,
The sunrise is a new day beginning, with all it's limitless possibility's
The sunset is the end of a day and all your mistakes and transgressions are washed away

A sunset. Seeing the sky in red and orange setting down past the horizon marking the end of a day. Knowing that the sun that I saw leaving me is going to wake up another side of the world.

Sunset...Because where I live you usually can't see the sunrise...But when the sunsets the sky turns pink and orange...and the sun turns a red-ish color. It kinda looks like a painting.

sunset it is relaxing at the end of the day. as opposed to sunrise in the morning when your rushing about to get to work

I personally like a sunrise better. To me it signifies the start of a new day, full of promise and potential. As the cool morning breezes waft around me in the stillness of the morning, the sun creeps up and darkness fades away to light. The singing of birds anounce the start of a new day, giving an even more positive note to the event.

I think a sunset is more beautiful. When the sun goes down all the colors in the sky change and are very vivid. You can watch the night sky slowly take over . It is a rather breath taking sight.

I think both are equally beautiful. I prefer sunsets though. Some primeval feeling in my psyche about the sun going down still reamins. The feeling of darkness descending and the shadows get longer. and then darkness. Perfectly mysterious.
Imagine how it was for the first humans who had some degree of consciousness? The fear of the sun going down. Not even really knowing if it will rise again. and the night creatures who would eat you up if they got you!

i like a sunset more because it symbolizes the end of day. it even relates to death in a way. it is after all the death of the day. the sun goes down and takes all your problems with it. washes them away and then comes back again the next day. the sunset symbolizes the end of problems, worries, tensions, and hatred. sunset is the best time to tell someone something.
