can someone please tell me what are the laws in maths

eg: positve and positive = positve ( + and + = +)...
what does negative and positve become
and negative and negative become etc......

- and - = +
+ and - = -
- and += -

For addition:

positive + positive = positive
e.g: 3 + 2 = 5

negative + negative = negative
e.g: -3 + -2 = -5

positive + negative = result will take on the sign of the higher number out of the two numbers taken into account
e.g: -3 + 2= -1
e.g: 3 - 2= 1

For multiplication:

positive x positive = positive
e.g: 5 x 10 = 50

negative x negative = positive
e.g: -5 x -10 = 50

positive x negative = negative
e.g: 5 x -10 = -50
e.g: -5 x 10 = -50

Negative + negative = Positive
Positve + Negative = Negative
Postive x Positive = Positive
Positive x Negative = Negative
Postive/ Negative = Negative
Negative/Negative = Positive

Try drawing out a number line. It will make it sooo much simpler for you. example

-5 -4 -3 -2 -1 0 +1 +2 +3 +4 +5
______________________________

Then go from there.. -2 -3 = -5
-2 + 3 = +1

There are two laws in maths
1. Addition
If we add +&+=+
+& -=- if the larger number is -
+&-=+ if larger number is +
-&-=- and will add the numbers

2. Multiplication
-&-=+
-&+=-
+&+=+
No matters the numbers are small or big.
