No. One of the net's best things is its openness. I want to be able to see any web page anybody else can see. Even if I don't read Korean or Japanese, I still like having the freedom of going to their pages.

If you start separating, you may not get the best answer. Let's say you wanna go to some village in Scotland and want to know what the best thing is the local pub has on the menu. It's more likely some Scot will provide a good answer than any American knowing of the village in the first place. Open means tapping into all of huminaty's knowledge -- or just English speaking ones at least :)

No .. because Americans are world citizens like the rest of us ..

Most anti-US people on here accuse the average american of being ignorant of world developments and only caring about themselves .. well if that is the case then segregation would only make things worse ..

It is sad that people can take a global community like the internet and use it to preach their narrow minded nationalist rubbish but each to their own I guess....

The fact that english is widely spoken and used in different countries, you cannot avoid people from these countries to be participating here.

There are Y!A counterparts in different countries and you can see them by scroling down on the main page of this site. Participation is limited though.

The internet is so open and everyone can have an access so everyone can get the chance to participate in an activity while it is possible...

Think you'll find there already is ... well several - yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk etc etc. And you can also filter questions to show only answers from a particular country at the bottom of the menu at the left hand side of the screen in the main ask/answer/discover page. I don't know whether or not that filters the actual questions, however. As far as I can tell, it seems to do neither sometimes. :)

Don't be ridiculous. It's exactly this kind of thinking which starts all the trouble in the first place. If I may regress here,I think you're just after an open view as to the state of affairs around the rest of the world.THIS WILL SCARE THE HELL OUT OF YOU !!!. THERE IS NO GOD...PERIOD !!!. ALL POLITICIANS SHOULD BE TAKEN OUT AND TAUGHT A LESSON !!!!.

The sooner we can all come together and talk to each other without the above(GOD,POLITICIANS),The better you and I will be.

I am not anxious to consort with who does not want me. The Americans can have their own Yahoo! Answers, and their arrogance.
