Alot of women go through that. Most of the time it's because they have too much iron in them. You may beable to tell your doctor and he might be able to get you another type.

I couldn't take prenatal vitamins, they made me so sick. I had to take flinstones, 2 a day. There are other ways to get folic acid and iron. Talk to your doctor about other vitamins that are available. Also make sure you are not on prenatal vitamins with extra written in there.

I could hardly ever tak those prenatals. they always made me sick too. In fact Ifound I had time eating if I tok them. So I quit taking the prenatals and got a good one a day .They are not as potent and my body could handle them. It is to give the baby extra nutrents and help keep your body from getting draines. So give the one a day a try you and baby will feel better. You want to be able to enjoy your pregnancy not be sick. Good Luck and God bless

Especially if you have never taken regular vitamins before, this can happen.
Try taking them with food in the beginning of the day with some breakfast. Be sure to increase your water during the day.
Don't stop taking them, they are really really important for your baby and for YOU for after you have the baby.
Good Luck.

I take something called Natatab. I was on a different kind of Pre-natal vitamin that I can't remember the name of and it made me sick. I told my OB and she gave me samples to try and the Natatab didn't make me feel sick. See if your OB has samples. Try a different one for a week straight.

They did me too. I tried taking them at night. That helped a bit...but in the end I couldn't take the nausea. I talked to my doctor and he was okay with me not taking them. As long as I got my vitamins other ways. But I did end up having to be on iron pills...because of low iron. But everything else was good.
Good luck

I hadthe same problem. After 3 months of suffering through them. I talked to my doctor and he told me I could take 2 Flinstone's Chewables Complete's a day. Talk to your doctor, or they might give you another brand of prenatal that would work for you.
