Put some ice cubes in a sandwich bag and leave them on top of the blue tack until it goes hard. Then it should just be able to be picked you.

Try and get hold of some Goo remover and follow instructions, if not try placing some ice cubes on the bluetack for a few minutes and see if you are able to then pick it off.....good luck !

rub iron filings into the blue tack and use a nuclear thermo electronic magnet to draw the substance out of the carpet.Nuclear thermo electronic magnets are available from Woolworth's!!

Dab the area with white spirit till it comes off, then just wipe off the white spirit with a clean damp cloth, it will smell of the white spirit for a while, but it will remove the bluetack.

It is very difficult to get it out but you could try putting and ice cube on it till it goes hard and scraping it off with a knife.
