If they are anywhere else put salt on them or spray with fly killer..And get rid of whatever they are feeding off of. They only eat what is dead...

If they are in a wound of your pet the bast way is with potassium permanganate crystals. Sprinkle them in the wound and then pour some VERY diluted hydrochloric acid in the wound.
Just a word of warning - it stings like hell but it gets rid of the maggot and cauterises the wound.

can you elaborate -where are the maggots? are they in your pet? seeing u have posted this under pets?
maggots - fly spray / hot water/ get to the source of the problem the blowflies and keep all foods away and rubbish in sealed bins

That would depend where thay are. If they're in a garbage bin try spraying it with a bug killer and then disinfecting the bin.
