A Politician uses those promise as campaign strategy in other to lure the electorates' vote, soon after swearing in, he discovers he has many things to do for himself first (personal agenda) before the electorates'. The system the politician inherits can also change things, now that what he holds in mine is not what he formally think its going to be when he assumes office the polician can ignore all that he had promised. One of the things could be because there's no much money in the purse as he thought formally, so he may not be able to fulfill his earlier promises to the people. That's what I think is the cause. http://internetbusinessthatpays.blogspot.com >>http://securitytipsforall.blogspot.com >>http://360.yahoo.com/xovinz

I believe that some are honest in their promises, but then the reality of the job and dealing with other politicians who are also trying to get their pet projects approved affects those promises. If you have ever talked one on one with a local polititian, you will find out that they have to learn a lot of compromise, and with dealing with the system. And the fact that some have short terms means that almost as soon as they are in office they have to start campaigning for the next term. With term limits we are getting so many inexperienced politicians, and just like with any other job it takes time to learn what you are doing and how to get things accomplished. Before they can learn the system, they are out the door!

Because they get TIED down with OFFICE procedure & policies !
They are being regulated by the power of the system which is in place. Lone SHARKING as a new politician is POLITICAL suicide! They have to spend more time to work the potitical machine to get noticed for any changes, especially getting any positive. Bridery is the game for success! It's all ABOUT self, when in office !

Why do politicians need you after getting voted into power, promises are made to be brocken according to them. A true politician will even sell his mother to garner votes.

Many have lasted many terms, but its the public, blinded again and again by empty promises, "OH I WILL KEEP MY PROMISE THIS TIME ROUND" and have voted them in.

Your actually surprising for the incorrect motives. We vote because of the fact we expect of we are going to get some thing out of it. all of us do, and politicians comprehend this and play off our greed. as quickly as in, they do what's effective for them. I learn this Senator. A junior senator. while elected he had a splash extra then $one hundred forty,000.00 money in his own banking account, 3 years later he had over 3 million! Now shall we do the maths. Going income for a Senator is $one hundred forty,000.00 a 300 and sixty 5 days, circumstances 3, howdy, thats no longer 3 million. the place did that money come from, oh, yeah, investments. A 21 fold return on the money you had saved up, superb! We vote because of the fact we expect the knucklehead to come back lower back to the state with rather the golden goose. deliver a number of that geets lower back our way. That new Toyota assembly plant, some street money that we are able to unfold into each and every thing else different than highways. Our state governments are interior the begging sport. those that are effective beggers are the effective politicians. deliver abode the William Maxwell Aitken, begged, barrowed, or stolen! Dude, all i can inform you is artwork no longer trouble-free, play no longer trouble-free, play your taxes and pray for the perfect. in need of that, your probabilities of pulling human beings faraway from watching American Idle and start up giving genuine intense theory to our situation is dismal.

Poppet is right. A lot of politicians want to get things done. One they get into office they find it might not be what other politicians want. Despite being the most powerful person in the world it is not a dictatorship.

They told you what they thought you wanted to hear with no intentions of delivering. In other words, they lied, something they are very adept at. Politicians aren't all liars, though. Only about 98% of them give the rest a bad name.

For getting elected, politicians give lot of promises, which even they know that it is very difficult to fulfill. Once get elected they conveniently forget the promises as they know very well that their place is secured till next election. By the time next election approaches they will do something to please the people to get elected again.

That's what politicians do. They need to lie in order to get voted in. It would be plain stupid of them to tell you their true agenda.
You're under the assumption that politicians actually care about the voting public. Unfortunately, most of them don't.
