Can we make the rubber brittle by processing if yes whats it?

Treating with sulfur, or vulcanisation, will make the rubber brittle, but it was allso increase the tensile strength. If you want to ruin the rubber by making it brittle, you can expose it to O3 (ozone). It oxidizes the bonds in the rubber, making it weak and brittle.

Remove the moisture content. Bake or microwave to accelerate this process.
