The series, i think ran in the 70's. The character of Sir Lancelot whistled when he spoke and all the knights had very thin legs. I think it was something like The Knights of the Square table. It wa not Sir Prancelot.

Sounds like a late 70's-early 80's cartoon originally airing on cbs called King Arthur and the Knights of Justice to me

I remember a King Arthur cartoon where the Knights could bring out weapons or something out of there shields? I think someone has a mace come out of their shield? Not sure if I'm referring to the same cartoon since I wasn't born in the 70's.

There was on called King Arthur and the Square Knights of the Round Table (£3.99 on Play.com), and a recent one called King Arthur's Disasters. Both are available on DVD in the UK!

I do remeber it but I can't remeber much about it so I think it must have been running in the 1980s aswell because I wasn't born until 83
