POSSIBLE :

Sometimes if we are unsatisfied with our life, on a subconscious level this saddness reaction may occur.Think about this rationaly:
Are you satisfied with who you are and what you do ?
Are you sincere and open with those around you, or are you hiding your true self from other people ?

If this is the case, maybe you are not yourself, and this affects you at some depth level. When we cannot be our true self around others, the tendency is to get sad and feel lonely.

If you consider that this is any help, you can email me and we can talk more about this : keeyourthorns_676@yahoo.com

I sincerly think you need to talk to a psychologist and not a psychiatrist (they are used when it comes to mental illnesses)

My opinion--I really don't think this is so very unusual. It could be hormones, or you may be just an emotional person. If you think a doctor is necessary--you might try a gp. He might be able to give you a light nerve pill to smooth you out some. Then he can refer you to a psychiatrist if he feel it is necessary. Good luck.

Not enough detail here. If there has been a big change in your life this depression can happen up to a year later. This is normal. The important thing is that you recognize it in order to deal with it.

This happens to me usually when I am very anxious. For me, it's an involuntary reaction to an impending dreaded situation.

A psychologist would be better.

Before you go to see a psychiatrist, please try drinking more water. It does really take the edge off of the saddies. Dehydration really does affect your mood. Drink two liters a day.
