A few years ago,
Grandpa slipped and was admitted into the hospital, after a few days, he went into coma and we we're told to prepare for the worst.
I went to see him for the "last" time that night, and i saw my cousin crying outside the room...
and i was thinking, what a stupid scene...
and thought it would be happenning to me.
But...
At the first sight seeing Gramps lying in the bed, struggling to breath from those machines,i broke into tears and was crying IMMEDIATELY before I can realize it.
And I start to pray that he could...stay with us.
Then me Gramps from mother's side came,he was silent, then he walk over to the bedridden gramps, grip him a little, and do nothing else...
The next morning, Gramps passed away.

Fear of the "unknown"?? I think not.
I can't explain why someone else would be afraid of death, but as for me, it is because of what happens when you die. You cease to be able to directly affect and observe the world. Maybe it is more grim than what a christian would believe, but it is the only conclusion I can logically come to. Similarly to how you remember nothing from before you were born, nothing will be perceived after you die. The thought if it makes my stomach turn; an infinate void.
The reason to not apply acceptance to this is simple. You need to apply caution to ensure that death does not occur by your own fault or carelessness. If you do not apply caution, you may contribute to your own death; the only meaningful regret that can never be realized. While there may be little sense in quantifying your own fear, it is preferable to think of death in a way that gives you reasons to take fewer risks. The fear is a natural reaction to the desperation of living with the knowledge of your impending death. Without the cause of this fear, there would be less value put on a single human life.
Thinking of it as not a big deal and simply accepting it is rather stoic and diluted. To hate it and not fear it is inhuman.

I believe Life is harder then death (and sometimes suffering in the end is a part of (Life). It's better if people just learn to flow with whatever life brings them because everything will pass in time. Unfortunately, some people are afraid to live and afraid to die. I choose to believe that we'll see all our loved ones after death which comforts me.

People are afraid of it simply because it is the "unknown". That is why so many cling to their religious beliefs. The concept of god gives them continuity "after death". When you look at religion, it really is more than just a belief system...it is a promise that there IS something after death...
Death is the ultimate - great unknown! For some people, that is their greatest fear...

We are afraid of what we don't understand, and the ultimate mystery is what happens after death. Besides, even if we're going to die someday, we want to put it off as long as possible.

We are afraid because we don't really know what's on the other side if anything. Noone knows for sure what happens when we die. i believe we go to heaven or hell but I really don't have any proof if you know what I mean.

You are correct.
It is in nature that everything that has a begining must have an end.
Just like anything that goes up must come down, hey.
Why be afraid? It is unknown teritory but it is coming for you.

Every one wants their time on Earth to live their life. They don't want to die before they have a husband/wife and a family, and have made some kind of difference. and once they have that they want to keep it. and they don't want to leave their loved ones behind!
