I don't think breast feeding causes your boobs to sag. It actually firmed mine up since the milk glands became fully developed! Make sure you wear a good bra. I would also recommend pumping all of your extra milk out so that you don't get too engorged. Some people will tell you that if you pump your engorgement will continue forever but it isn't the truth! It is nice to have all that extra breastmilk around for nights out.
As for how careful you have to be with what you eat it is really no different than with pregnancy! You can have a glass of wine. If you pumped all your extra breastmilk you can occasionally light up the town and then just use your stored breastmilk to feed the baby the next 12 hours or so. Another reason to pump through engorgement!
You will bleed for a month after giving birth but while it will be really heavy the first week, it will be like a regular period the 2nd week, and just a light flow the last couple of weeks. Breastfeeding helps lighten this bleeding! The trick to get through the bleeding is to keep clean! They will give you a bottle to rinse yourself off with after you go. Use it for the entire month! I always follow up with a little blow drying with my hair dryer. It makes me feel clean and fresh and helps my skin heal faster.
Good Luck!

Sagging breasts are developed from tissue stretching during pregnancy and also time, as you age skin gets thinner naturally.
Breastfeeding diet should not be any different for you then how you ate and drank during your pregnancy. On some occasions moms find they limit certain veg that may cause gas in their babies. You can drink beer wine etc.. and breastfeed, just time it.
After you give birth you have a discharge not your period- lochia, Vaginal discharge made up of mucus, blood, and tissue that continues after delivery for up to six weeks. If you breastfeed it may end sooner then if ou do not. The breastfeeding will help your muscles to contract and gert back to normal size faster.
Good luck to you!!!

I am currently breastfeeding and love it. I don't necessarily think your boobs will sag - they will get bigger though. Once done with breastfeeding, you could try doing some firming up excercises. Breastfeeding is very rewarding, but some downsides are leaky breasts (definately get some nursing pads), and it is a lot of work - takes up most of your day. I also use an electric pump - very worth it. I haven't had to alter my diet too much - I stay away from tomatoes and berry fruits, as they gave my baby a bad rash. Spicy foods are also not too good. I don't drink coffee, but I believe you should limit caffeine. I have the occassional glass of wine and it seems fine.
You won't have your period as such, but whether you breastfeed or not, you will have about six weeks of lochia, which is a discharge. It starts out heavy, but gets less and less as time goes on.

1. no breast feeding does not cause you to have any breast problems. It will help you get your shape back quicker.
2. You should be careful what you eat and drink but the occasional drink will not harm the baby.
3. Some girls seem to bleed longer than others. it is due to the fact that after childbirth you will bleed for 4-5 days approx. then you may stop but other girls have a normal period almost immediately which makes it appear that they have been bleeding for longer but definitely no a month. The first period may also be heavier than normal.
Brest feeding is not a method of birth control so make sure you use something before you resume sex.

It is pregnancy that makes a woman's breasts sag, not breastfeeding.
However, several of my friends who breastfed reported that after they stopped breastfeeding, their breasts shrunk to a smaller size than they had had BEFORE getting pregnant! So while you can't prevent the SLIGHT sagging that comes with having been pregnant, you should be aware of the possible size change.
Yes, you will have to be careful about what you eat and drink.
You will have your period for around 6 weeks.
If you decide to breastfeed, then that's fine and I wish you success and satisfaction.
If you decide to bottle feed, do not let anyone make you feel bad about your decision. It is YOUR decision. Breastfeeding is NOT for everyone. For example, my friends loved it, but I absolutely hated it.
No, I'm not a bad mother. I am a fantastic mother.
And part of being a fantastic mother is realizing that if you are severely unhappy because you are doing something you really dislike, your baby will be unhappy, too.
That's doesn't mean you should go on a guilt trip that you are making your baby unhappy, it means that it is in your baby's best interests for YOU to do whatever makes YOU feel like a normal functioning human being. If that means not breatsfeeding, then that's your decision, and no one has the right to criticize you.
Either way, best of luck!

breast feeding doesn't make your boobs sag ,pregnancy and age do that.and yes you do have to watch what you eat a bit but not as much as when you are pregnant ,the length of time you bleed after the baby depends on the kind of birth you have but yes it can go for that long ,PS no one told me about that ,it was a shock.LOL,,My advice about feeding is ,try it give it a good go but don't feel to bad if you don't like it ,even a few weeks on the breast is good for your baby.

age the natural enviroment will sag your breasts dont let this sway you from breast feeding it is the most rewarding thing you can do for your children as for food eating and drinking restrictions well all in moderation eg chocolate and curries will affect baby to some degree, you will know over time what can trigger things as for alcohol or smoking i dont do either whilst breast feeding in saying this my sister drinks at least one glass of wine every couple of nights and has no affect on her baby personal choice and a lactation nurse can answer more questions in depth good luck and enjoy as it is the best thing for bub and you,

Breastfeeding doesn't make your boobs sag, pregnancy does.
Alcohol and drugs can be passed to your baby through breastmilk.
Yes, you will have bleeding for about 4-6 week post partum.
To answer your question, I believe that breastfeeding is the best choice for babies and it has health benefits for you, too (lower ovarian cancer rates). I breastfed both my kids and I don't regret it for a moment. Now that you are a mommy your child's health should be your first priority, and breastfeeding is a great way to give your child a healthy start.

your baby will get a lot of antibodies through breast milk which will make the baby's immune system stronger. breastfeeding doesn.t make your boobs sag, having a baby does. finally it take a while for your body to get back to normal after 9 month of childbearing, so a month isn't so bad. plus you haven't had your period for 9 months.
