What does the phrase 'bag of bones' mean? It was in Norah Jones song I Dont Know Why.

Thanks in advance.

Depends on the context - it can be used to refer to a skinny person in a similar way to "just skin and bones".
Or it can be a reference to a (West Indian?) witch doctors method of telling fortunes - they would have a bag of bones and the way they scattered would tell the fortune.
