Bhoodaan Yojana was founded in 1998 by Priscilla Presley. It is a growing cult of aesthetics who worship paintings of Elvis on black velvet.
Many claim that they have seen visions of Elvis in bowls filled with Wheaties. Others claim to have dug up a potatoe that is an exact replica of Elvis' head.
To become a member of the cult, one must give up vegetarianism and become a carnivore. Non-alcoholics and drug-free individuals are not accepted into the order.
To become a priest or priestess, one's waist measurement must be greater than one's chest measurement, usually 40 inches for men, 36 inches for women.
Anyone who has kept a 45 rpm record of any of Elvis' songs is considered to be a prophet.
The spirit of Elvis, whether he's alive or not, is the Bhoodaan Yojana.

Aacharia( Principal) Vinoba Bhave started the movement call bhoodaan yegna(1947-1960 India).
He went from town to town and requested land owners to give up 10% (I believe) of their land to poor farmers (share croppers). Share croppers were known as ganotia (in Gujarati language).
Idea was good but the timing was wrong. India was in the midst of agricultural mechanisation. To justify mechanised farming the farms needed large acreage to farm, the farm in India were already very small compared to other farming countries(average acreage).
