Well, I think it's because their single, I Write Sins, Not Tragedies, is so overplayed that people forget that they have other great songs out there. I personally love them too, but some of my friends think they stink. It's only because their songs are very different. Some people like that and some don't. I bet you have some bands in mind that you absolutely hate too, because you just don't like their music or whatever. I think it's perfectly acceptable to like a band everyone hates. Just don't let other people influence your decisions.

I love them too. I can't believe people hate them. They're a bit eccentric, but everyone has a gimmick. I applaud them for bringing some funkiness to their genre of music. I'm sick of seeing all these eye-shadow wearing men with pale faces staring gothly blank into camera lenses. I'm glad there are groups like Panic! and Fall Out Boy to spice things up.

because everyone thinks theyre just a rip-off of Fall Out Boy but that's not true. Of coarse,you would have to expect them to sorta sound like them because Pete Wentz(f.o.b.'s bassist) mentored them and co-produced them. Also, Fall Out Boy writes songs about life experiences and what to look forward to in the future. Panic! At The Disco writes songs about books and movies that have inspired them along with their feelings and life experiences. I really like Panic! At The Disco. And Theyre REALLY cute!!!!!!

ur always going to find some people who don't like what you like and aren't passionate about what you're passionate about. take it ffrom me, i watch rassling (wwe/raw) and get flack for it from some people. but i was raised with brothers who loved the junk! i'm not a huge fan of panic!, but i don't hate them. i just don't see why people make such a huge deal about them or fall out boy. and i listen to rock/alternative. if you like them, just don't worry about what others think.
