His job was a dangerous one... these things happen. You might try talking to your school nurse or councellor, they'll probably be able to help you out, or at least be able to talk you through things.
Just give it some time, you'll get over it. If the reruns are making you sad, don't watch them. If you want to pay respects, really it's probably better to do it by being environmentally friendly to the wildlife in your area than going on an expensive trip to a zoo. The point of the show was education more than entertainment... applying what you learned makes it worthwhile.

I, too am really saddened. Steve was a GREAT conservationist!!! He died working with the animals he loved so very much!!!
If you want a great way to channel your grief, find a way to take up Steve's cause!!! Make yourself a living legacy to Steve Irwin!!!
Help older people in your neighborhood care for their animals-offer to walk their dogs or give them a bath!!! Many senior citizens reach a stage where they may have to give their beloved pets up, just because they can't care for them they way the once could. Sometimes, their pets are the only company they have for weeks at a time. Think about how lonely you'd be if you had NOBODY to care for-no family around-no friends to spend your time with. An by doingthis, you'll be making 2 friends for the price of 1!!! You'll have a new animal friend, and a new human friend, too-almost like adopting a new grandma or grandpa!!!
Volunteer at a local SPCA or animal shelter.
Volunteer to be a foster parent to a shelter animal.
Take up collections of pet food, blankets, toys and money to give to local shelters-this helps keep supplies up so that more animals can be housed there. It's especially important in the colder area in the winter.
Organize a group in your church or school to help animals.
Find homes for stray animals in your neighborhood.
Learn all you can about our environment, and share the info with anyone who is willing to listen.
John Walsh channeled the grief from lossing his son, Adam, and created America's Most Wanted and The Natioal Center For Missing and Exploited Children, and they just made 900 criminal captures!!! They couldn't have done that without the help of people like us-watching and calling. They've also returned many missing or kidnapped children to their families and provided closure in the cases of many murders.
Like John says-"YOU can make a difference!"
All it takes is one man-woman-or child-making a stand.
My daughter and I have belonged to PETA for several years, and Katey also volunteers at a local pet shop/wildlife education center.
Steve is our inspiration and our role model.
Just think of all the good you can do. And Steve will be smiling down on all of us.
I really hope this helps you get past the hurt you're feeling!!!
Hugs!!!

Try to celebrate his life instead of mourning it thats not helping you at all. Watch his shows and think of all the good he did. He said if anything happened to him he would want it to be doing what he loved he accomplished his goal in life. I was a big fan of him too I was very sad and didn't know his family could live through it but I also knew they are very proud of him for what he accomplished in life.
I'll keep up to date with you on that address.
Just think about what i said.
Go to his site and check it out.

that's incorrect to assert that. I continuously theory he became into form of stupid and unusual for doing what he did and positioned himself in risk while he had a spouse and childrens. yet yeah it is a tragic element and it continuously is while somebody dies, much extra while they have a relatives. he will defiantly be overlooked and keep in mind by human beings each and all the worldwide. it is strange nonetheless thinking the crocodile hunter is lifeless, it in simple terms unusual.

Try starting a journal. You can try to contact Terry by going to Animal Planet's website, they probably have a link on there to contact her.
