Maybe you were too shy and they mistook your shyness for being aloof! Were you cold towards them?
Be friendly with them and show interest in them as friends. Once you get to know them better, they will change their minds about you.
Anyway, do not be too overly sensitive to comments by your friends, as they are just words. Its their behaviour that's more important. Many words are often spoken without much thought by people who later regret it. Take life easy, girl and you will live a much happier life.

I'm not sure what that should really mean .. maybe its your stance and the way your present yourself. Ask them to explain

The phrase Ice Queen usually describes someone who is cold, aloof and unapproachable. I would ask your friends to explain why they think that about you. For what it's worth, I would be upset by this.

Be very offended as this is not a compliment. It means that you look cold and unfeeling, which makes you less approachable. I would ask them what they mean by their comments, (it could be related to your complexion, but also your facial expressions or demeanor).
