No. And Bush has two. He graduated from Yale and then went on to the Harvard Business school for an MBA.He's just dumb. He's part of the class of Americans who are pushed through Ivy league universities because of who they are, not what they will do with the information and skills they receive. It's like the Wizard says in the Wizard of Oz. "I can't give you brains, but I can give you a diploma."
Only about 10% of Americans actually obtain a BA or equivalent degree but more than that try. I think that a person with the ambition and personality to become president would want college and be planning for it from an early age. American parents of class that produces presidents start picking out their children's preschools partly on the basis of how many of the graduates got into Yale. Even working people who want something better for their children will start nagging them to study in middle school because "You want to clean motel rooms or you want to go to college?" Direct quote from my father.
In college a person can make the connections with the wealthy people who will help fund a campaign.
American colleges run farm teams for professional sports but some athletes do not finish degrees and go on to pro careers. They usually crash and burn after the first serious injury because they have no other skill except being big.
I would love to see some union member climb out of a mine or step away from a sewing machine and say- "This is where I got my education on the front lines of the class war and I'm taking the nation to school.
Probably not in the near future.

No. But, like chicken soup for a cold, it couldn't hurt.

1. Born an American
2. 35 years old.

From Constitution: 'No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.'

No, there's no requirement that you have a college degree to be President. However, I don't know how seriously people would take a candidate without one, so I think while it's not a requirement to hold the office, it would be helpful in getting people to vote for you.

It is not a requirement, but almost every president has had a college degree of some kind

No such requirement. Even if it was a requirement, however, I don't think it would make much difference. Look at the moron who currently sits in the Oval Office. He went to Harvard and Yale. Just goes to show that a family name is still the clincher when it comes to Ivy League.

No, there are only three requirements - you have to be at least 35 years old, a natural born citizen, and have lived in the US for at least 14 years.

No, there's not a formal requirement for having a college degree. Your opponents would use that as a weapon against you though.
