9/11, is the first one that pops up. OH! Thanksgiving. Sure the story didn't go like we're taught in school, but at least we get a huge meal out of the deal. Veteran's Day, even if you don't agree with this or any other war, at least respect and remember those who fought in those wars. New Year's Eve, that's just a huge party. :)

memorial, labor, presidents, and martin luthur king days can also be considered important but since they are on a different date each year you cant remember the date
