What's wrong with her vocal? I've seen a couple of her recent live performance and most of them sucked. Where's her high note? It seems she's injured her vocal. Could somebody answer this question? Will she recover soon?

Yes she injured her vocal cord a while back. As with any injury of that nature, it takes time to heal. And with her demanding schedule, it looks as if she can't get the healing time she needs. I think it's sad. She's actually an ok singer, but if she doesn't give her body the time it needs to heal, she may cause irreversible damage.

She broke a blood vessel within her vocal chords right before she was to promote her new CD. She tried hard to sing on the Today Show but her voice gave out a few times.

She says she bruised her vocal. This of course happened at the same time that John Mayer got larengites (?) and had to cancel a couple of shows on his tour with Sheryl Crow. Him and Jess were kind of dating until the pieces came together and the rags placed them together. John ran out after that, he hates the celeb. spotlight. So... bruised vocal or laringytes (?) you pick?
