Every time I go to Yahoo mailbox I have to type in full details, even though "remember password" box is ticked every time.

Thanks for answers so far.
The problem only happens on a new Yahoo mail account.
All other passwords are memorised.

Use Mozilla Firfox, when you get the logon screen Firefox will ask you if you wish it to remember it and you wont have any problems. Firefox also has a good password manager so you can check or delete these far more simply that with Internet Explorer. By the way you can still use either browser, they don't conflict but Firfox is more secure.

Two possibilities:

1) You have to reauthenticate to Yahoo! Mail every 8 hours (that's what it used to be; maybe it has changed). So if you're checking your mail once a day, that is one possibility.
2) If your browser is set to delete all cookies after each browsing session, that could be killing your settings.

Is it remembering your email address, or does it forget that too?
