should be several if you ask me. Last count there were 9 in my house. lol that is of course counting 2 computers and a very old 2 volume set, a children's dictionary with pictures, a pocket-sized one, a desk-top version, a student's version and I think a poet's version. That's all without looking through the house for them. I may have others too. :)

In our house we have about twenty dictionaries: some for the language of our own country and some for the foreign languages we study.

It is better to keep a dictionary at Home for learning people, but they have to use it

Yes, and preferably more. If there is only one, then it needs to be a large one. Not one of those pocket dictionaries, as they do not have anywhere near enough entries to be very educational. One that gives etymological roots would be excellent.

not compulsory for the ones having a computer with Internet facility. v can find almost anything in Internet encyclopedias.if a house is not having a computer, then it is a MUST for them.

Not only have it, they must use it as well.

Everytime a word is used that must be highlighted with a marker, so that you refresh your memories when you turn the pages.
