My mother had my brother 18 yrs older than I, and she did not have any problems, she was 40. It depends on the eggs and if they are getting too old or not. I do not think that it is too old, but your pregnancy would have to be monitored, and the ultra sound can tell you if there are any deformities. It should not affect your health. You should consult a doctor and let him examine the woman and see if she has any health problems that would affect her health or the baby.

For your professional advice see a professional.
What is going on? Are you thinking about having a baby in your 40's?
In my opinion if you haven't had any babies by the time you are 40. You should just adopt locally.
