When you come off the depot injection it can take up to 6 months for you to start ovulating again. You will have an indication that you might be ovulating again when you start to have periods that settle into some sort of regular routine. It is quite normal to have irregular spotting at first. Your symptoms are quite normal so don't worry. There is no harm in starting to try for a baby whenever you want, it will just be trickier until your periods settle down to know when is the best time of the month to try. Good luck!

It is completely normal after coming off Depo. It can take up to 18 months for the Depo hormones to leave your body completely. There isn't anything you can do except wait. Not everyone is the same you might return to normal any time, there is no hard fast rules. I came off Depo earlier this year and 5 months later I still hadn't had a 'proper' period. I decided to go back on it as I don't want another baby just yet.

It is really just a matter of waiting it out and I hope it's not too long for you.

Dont worry about the spotting that you have had it is normal. I was on the pill injection for a couple of years and when i came off it the same thing happened to me. And as for ovulating or knowing when the best time to get preganant is i would wait until you have had at least 2-3 normal periods, that way you know where you are up to. My GP told me that it could take from 12-24 months for me to get caught preganant, as it was it only took me 3 month. Best of love and happy baby making :-)

I have just come of the Depo (last jab was in May). I have gone back on the pill as I dont want any more babies (I have 3). I had some spotting that lasted a few day's when I was on my 7 day gap of the pill.
It can take as long as 12 mth to get your body back. You could try and start charting now though.

After depo, i dont think anything is normal. I got one injection, I bled constantly for 6 months, so suffice to say, I never had another injection again ever. You probably are ovulating. but it can take up to 18 months to be 'normal' again.
