The Original Supermans real last Name-Reeves and The late actor who assumed the role-Christopher Reeve. Was this Coincidence or not?

I think my Q should be answered by older people! Yes, there was an original Superman. His name was George Reeves. And that thing that answered with a Name calling is WAY TOO Imature to suit my taste.

i think it may have started as a coincidence, but when they considered it, realized it may be a good one. christoper reeve was an excellent superman. george reeves was too. george on tv, chris in movies-years after george had died. both died pretty young, george at 45, chris at 52.
