Hey, right now I'm working with a dance troupe and i need to find a good tailor for their costumes. However they're only kids (middle schoolers) so I don't want them to have to pay too much for their costumes. Anyone know of a good tailor in Singapore for this? Thanks!

For that price, you could get yourself a decent suit but do avoid tailors situated at orchard road as those are just making a quick buck. Go for the tailors that locals visit, for better price and honesty. The best in SIngapore is CYC at Raffles hotel. Its quality and workmanship is among the best in the region. But if you have a tighter budget, go to another tailor called Coloc in Raffles hotal as well. They might be ablr to do something within your budget. The cost of the suit depends primary on the quality of fabric you choose. Those rip offs along Orchard roads might offer you a good price but you'll end up with some china quality fabric and workmanship. Peninsular plaza(Chinese tailors) also houses some tailors that are not bad, these are mostly middleclass tailors and you might get quite a bargain there. But do remember, you get for what you pay.
