No. People's personalities are not reflected by the color of the ink they use. Personally, I use Blue pens because I am supposed to write my notes with them and use black pens as a preference. But I am a outgoing bubbly kind of person who can find the joke in anything and everything. this theory of yours has already been proved wrong by a few science students in India

It used to be a copier would not print the color blue. So I got in the habit of using black. I haven't given it much thought but I have been using black for a long time. It may be time for me to change.
I like to buy nice pens and use them till they run out of ink and then refill them. I think it is cool to use the same pen every day and not loose it. If you ever have your picture taken at school or at a meeting, make sure you have a pen in your hand or in your pocket. You will look prepared and give the impression of someone to count on versus the people who don't have a pen in their pocket.

I like black, because it provides a cleaner look to the writing, with the stark contrast between the darkness of the ink and the white of the paper.
As for the personality thing - yes, I'm definitely more of a serious person, rather than an outgoing, bubbly, kind of person.

My favorite color is blue, but I prefer black when using a pen. I only use blue when there are no other available colors. But I think you're right with the "personality" thing. It sounds it has something to do with colors. Just thought about it.

There's a really good reason to use blue in business - it proves that the document wasn't photo-copied. Also it stands out against black type making the signature more special.

I prefer to read black pen so I try to use it myself and encourage my students to do the same. I like black, as I am along in years and black it easier to read when grading papers. When I'm grading I use red ink so it's easier to spot bythe students.
