Yes, this is a scam and you will see them everywhere. One of the scams to me was when I was looking for a place to rent. They said I can have rent free and all I had to do was cash their check to my account and send them the money and keep a portion for my troubles. Why would anyone fall for these? Because greed for a good life/no work will tempt anyone.

Watch out for the ebay/paypal ones that want you to log in a site so they can get your password. Best way to tell these is set your cursor over the active link (don't click) and watch the web address show for a few moments. You will see it will go somewhere other than ebay/paypal or your bank etc.

You will receive these everyday because people out there fall for it and it encourages the scammer to send out millions of these emails just to get one or two bites.

Watch out people.

Of course its a scam....along the lines of the Nigerian type.
Here's whats gonna happen if you're stupid enough.
1. You answer
2. They request details of your bank account so they can 'forward payments' to your account for clearing, or ask you for a 'security deposit' this time only to ensure you are trust worthy!
3. Your account gets emptied & you do not hear again from them.

Just how many naive people are in the world is amazing. If its too good to be true....then it isn't true!!

Naw...I think I remember dealing with this gentleman some time ago. Nice fellow as I recall. He sold me a big ol' bridge in San Francisco. He said that I get possession and title as soon as they are done painting the thing. I have seen pictures of it and I know it exists. It is a big one. I think he called it the Golden something bridge. He said he might have another one soon across the country. I think he called it the Brooklyn Bridge or something like that. That would be cool. Wanna go in half with me?

Ask yourself, is it really likely they would contact you (instead one of 100's of millions of other people in the world) to undertake this work. What are your qualifications in this regard? Accountant perhaps? How did they find your contact details - perhaps you are registered with an international funds handling organisation? I think not - more likely an international 'gullible persons spam list'

This is a quite well known scam - more often originating in African countries, I think. Not too bright calling themselves Ali Baba, though, are they? Bit of a giveaway!

Ignore, flee, delete and run any anti-spyware, anti-virus software you can...... It would have been better if you had never opened the email but that is stable doors and horses bolting. What ever you do, do not reply otherwise they will have your email address on file and then who knows what junk you will get.

I love MCR and Backstreet Boys are pretty okay. They're good, but most people wouldn't consider them the best contributions to music... sadly. But then again, if we love their music that's all that matters!
