good question but I find it hard to answer by stating a category. I find that I find happiness when I learn something new every day. In that I do every time I do visit Yahoo Q&A no matter what catagory.
In regards to sadness, I kinda get that feeling when I see someone who declares they know somethng yet their words declare that they are just fooling themselves.
Now to participate in your survey I guess the most happiness is in Religion and Spirituality and the most sadness is in the same section. I say that for it seems to be the biggest section with so many questions where individuals do clearly reveal their pure innate nature in detail. That is of course true everywhere but here one does not have to did so far to see it. Just read some of the answers to good questions.

Never had any happy or sad emotion for any category everything is fine till the question is right!!!but if wanted to say then it would be: Happy - Polls & Survey
