Take away ones pride and ego and a person would not care if he had pride or ego.

No , I didn't. It is also a shame that some women , such as yourself , haven't a clue about a mans pride ( as in proud ).By natures choice , as well as Gods design , men are born with a strong sense of self worth and respect. We unquestionably refuse to be humiliated with regards to that self respect. That pride is carried into our vision of a family and for a very few men , that pride is shown in the strength of their families. A mans deminished self respect is brought on , in most every case , by the actions of a woman. A colder ,calculating,connieving and deceitful species like no other , is that of women. This behavior is perfected at the earliest ages and is permitted in society because "she's a girl ".Little girls will often challenge a boys courage with a dare or the most damaging psychological experiment , and that being , the uncanny ability to incite a violent situation for their sake. It appears to be a form of entertainment for girls to see the lengths a boy can be pushed into even though, under normal circumstances , they would never consider. This rediculous "game of chance" continues throughout a females life. A straight faced committment of fidelity to two(2) boys to see which desires her attention the most. If that were all , it may not be too bad an issue. The problem occurs when the young lady, totally , coordinates a situation and specifically choreographs the details which will bring the opposing suiters to a face - to - face altercation. To determine the reason for this type of distructive behavior , one needs simply answer a question. Is she an evil ***** or is she too simple minded to rationally decide between the two young men ? There are no other possible answers to the conundrum, although I would be interested in hearing other theories.When a family is started , does the woman supply the strength of pride in this family unit ? Quite the contrary. Vertually every woman on the planet , will sumarily circumvent and inevitably supersede the level of family pride which had been nourished by the husband , as a result of feeling inferrior or somehow slighted. Therefore , I believe that you should rephrase your question to address the issues of female distruction of a mans pride. Ladies, there are still wonderful women in this world and I am neither a homosexual nor a woman hater. I ( as well as most men ) crave the total endulgence of a woman...a real lady...a rational human being. A brief , direct response to the askers question and I repeat ...No , I didn't.

I would also say the same for woman. The gender difference is not signficant. The expression of the pride and ego is different but the underlying feeling related are the same.

From a strong, intelligent person pride in oneself and a healthy concept of the self ("ego") cannot be taken away.

Gosh, it sounds as if you're "lookin' fer luv in awl th' wrong places." There are lots of non-prideful, non-egotistical guys out there. They just don't look like the ones to whom you've become accustomed, and they don't hang out in places you frequent. I've known many of the ******* of whom you speak. If their pride and ego were taken away, nothing would change because they are too dumb to notice! 8^)

if that is all you think men have or offer you must be a lesbian and yes i have some pride and maybe a little ego but take those a way and a man is humble but not weak he may be kind but not foolish

self assurance and self confidence also can be interpreted as pride and ego. i don't say u are wrong. but may be seeing the entire thing with a coloured glass. pride see-eth pride.
