Good for you. At least you talk to others about your problems. Someone who can LISTEN to you. That's the best part.

What is your age & situation? Sounds like the teacher recognizes that you are vulnerable & in need of a mentor. This is a good thing if they have your best interests at heart. If they are one of the few bad ones that are getting so much press, you can recognize it by innappropriate behaviors such as those Gavin De Becker gives in his books such as "The Gift Of Fear"- a good read for anyone generally, and especially pertinent to the emotional vulnerability that accompanies a situation such as your own. Read it & be wise on your own behalf.

I don't think it is that bad of an idea, but if you do it regularly and depend too much on these outside resources, you might end up having a very distant relation with your parents. Since you seem to go to these people, perhaps it's because your parents are pressuring you. Maybe a counselor would suffice better.

No its not wrong to ask them ,if you feel comforatable, but realize they aren't your parents,so they can only go on the information you are giving them, your parents on the other hand know you(so to speak)and getting a lot of input from different sources can enlighten you to a truer path of what your thing, problem, crisis, whatever and help to make a correct decision

yes you can talk to your teachers about problems which you think is safe with him/her(talking your problems to others other than your parents will make your mind much stress free!if you are stressed you will not be able to concentrare on a thing!)you can talk to your parents about big problems which even the teacher or a councler cannot solve. In indian philosophy it is said like this Matha(mother),Pitha(father),Guru(teacher)and Deivam(God).this means after mother and father it is your teacher who comes next.So i think you must talk to both of them.you must say problems which you can say to you parents to them itself and problems which you can say to your teacher to them itself.Sorry if i got off the subject. So in my opinion this is must answer and be stress free by following the points which i told you.

YA, U can explain your problem to any one. It is nothing bad. Each and every people should have at least one people to whom he/she can tell every thing about him/her. But Parents are the only only only only only one GOD on earth. So feel good about them. They always want good for us. So be friendly with this and also share your problems with them.Do not be hasitate to tell them.
