UPN and the WB will be on soon as the CW. I was wondering if anyone knows if the cartoons that show on the KidsWB lineup will air on CW networks. If so, that means another channel of cartoons on saturdays and I hope weekday afternoons.

Yes. Even though Kids' WB is/was part and parcel of the WB and is becoming technically part of the CW, the decision was made to keep the name "Kids' WB" because of the audience's familiarity with it, not to mention that most of the programming for the Kids' WB is produced by Warner Brothers anyway. In short, "Kids' CW" didn't have the same ring to it.

I don't quite understand what you mean by "another channel of cartoons"--if you had Kids' WB before, it'll still be there when the CW opens for business (and depending on the area you live in, either it'll stay on the former WB channel, or move to the former UPN channel, depending on which channel becomes the CW).

Kids' WB on weekdays, however, is still dead, having been cancelled back in January. You can mostly chalk that up to all the kids' cable networks that provide a variety childrens' programming all through the kids' waking hours--Toon Disney, Cartoon Network, The Disney Channel, and so on.
