They call liberals "bedwetters", but really they cannot stand it if anyone doesn't have their same narrow viewpoint, and they are utterly ill-equipped to understand simple concepts, such as freedom of expression - it gives them a hissy-fit.

Republicans just get scared to easy.

If they don't like your nation-they bomb you.
If they don't like their neighbors-they buy guns
If they don't like your school-they cut its funding
If they don't like the local park-they build a subdivision.

Believe me when I say that republicans are not terrified by anyone. They are the ones who do all the terrifying to everyone who isn't like them!!!!
As for calling liberal "bedwetters" is really going way to far now. If they are "bedwetters" maybe it's because of all the terrifying that the republicans are doing to them.
As for republicans being narrow minded, utterly ill-equipped to understand simple concepts such as freedom of expression I agree with you there. Have you ever watched Bush's expressionless face whenever he talks?
I don't think republicans have any sense of values either because it would scare the wits out of them if they did. They take everything and twist it around so it makes you wonder what the hell they are talking about and who do they think they are fooling by all the double talk anyway?
I also believe that republicans fear the truth as much as the world fears war because we have yet to hear the truth come out of the mouths of any republican yet.
Your question was stated incorrectly because the republicans are not terrified by anyone at all but they do terrify everyone else, and yes they do often have hissy-fits too but for what reason, who really knows for sure.

Republicans cry foul whenever someone disagrees with them. If southern Republicans were in office during the 60s the civil rights act would have never been passed. republicans are synonymous with Dixiecrat's. and they'll admit to it. conservatives think a playboy magazine is more harmful to child than a semi-automatic rifle. the constitution and America is liberal. that's the way our founding fathers wrote it.

Clinton didn't do anything to fight terrorism?

IN 1996 Clinton sign into lawan anti terrorism bill that provides for new punishments and strategies to fight terrorism.

On Oct. 2 1995, clinton asks a Republican controlled Congress to authorize 100 FBI agents to investigate potential terrorist plans and permit the armed forces to probe crimes related to chemical, biological or nuclear weapons. The REPUBLICAN controlled Congress rejects the proposal. Nuff' said.

I don't think Republicans are terrified by those that are different from them. As far as freedom of expression goes you have got to be kidding. ABC does a TV show about the events leading up to 9-11, and every liberal free speech democrat in the country is attacking the show as a bunch of lies, and threatens to have ABC's broadcasting license pulled. It would take an imbecile to believe that BJ Clinton wasn't distracted by Monica Lewinsky when he was passing up opportunities to kill bin Laden. Clinton did nothing to stop terrorism, his own national security advisor (what a joke), Sandy Berger snuck documents (stole) from the National Archieves that clearly showed how asleep at the wheel Clinton, et al were on terrorism.

You think dems accept people that don't share their viewpoint? Tell that to the Branch Davidians in Waco. Janet Reno made them the devil incarnate:child abuse, illegal weapons, weird religion-so lets burn them alive including over 30 children. The sheriff in Waco had talked to Koresh and said he could have easily gone out to the Davadian compound and arrested Koresh by himself. But that wouldn't have the impact of a military style raid on a Sunday morning at a building that had over 90 women and children on a group of people that were a "cult" , "weird", "threatening". Democrates are the least tolerant group when it comes to accepting others they don't agree with. The call conservatives stupid, brain dead, nazis, religious fundamentalist, racist, homophobes; yeah that sounds pretty accepting to me. What it really sounds like is if you can't debate someone on the merits of their arguments then you vilify them or call them names.

What I can't understand, is why they still support such a poor leader, after all the failures that are pointed out to them. He goes directly against their belief system. Normally, they snub, put down, criticize, anyone who is inept, has poor leadership qualities, are unlucky, or are otherwise less fortunate than themselves. They are not known to be overly humanitarian.
They see themselves falling from favor, and it rankles. Karma is waiting in the wings, to bite them in the a** and they know it, and they are fearful, and rightfully so.

You're right, that is annoying, isn't it? It's about as annoying as having a group of liberal Democrats call me a racist pedophile as well, and other outright LIES. My African-American friends found the first part of that HILARIOUS, because they say that I'm about as NON-racist as a person can get. Actually, one of them told me that they've met many people of their own race who are more racist than I am. I'm race-CONSCIOUS (as in, I notice when a person's skin color is different), but I don't look down on anyone.
As for the second part, the mother of my two godsons found that hilarious, and so did other friends whose kids I've "adopted". My brothers and sister found that hilarious as well. Almost every parent I know trusts me with their kids. The ones that don't, don't trust ANYONE with their kids.
Anyway, my point is, it's not just Republicans that do that. The Democrats do it just as often, but they're even worse about it, I think. I'm not even a Republican, but there are Democrats on this site who HATE me.
I say let them. It flatters me.

Please don't judge all republicans by the Bush administration. The Republican Party has right, left, and middle of the roaders just like the Democrats and Independents.Unfortunately our current administration cannot allow freedom of thought much less speech and remain in power.

Because Republicans fear. They are taught to be afraid and everything they cannot understand, nor attempt to understand, will induce fear into them.
Hence they are against everything that is different. Culturally, ethnically, ideologically, genealogically or phonetically.

Republicans are afraid.
