ASP/JavaScript Programmer? Can you help me please?

Question

I want to learn this basic and simple Database programming on server side.

I have my Access database file on stored on a webserver. There's is only 1 Table in it which contains only 2 Fields namely: myname & myidand 3 sample Records.

I have a List on my webpage which shows the three names which are contained in the field: myname and I want to display the related myid on my webpage from the Table when I select any name which is also found in the table field: myname.


The HTML Page contains this Event:



The showCustomer function is contained inside the JavaScript file and it calls an ASP file to fetch the records.

No records are being displayed from the Database/Table. And I am getting no error message either.

Please, provide me help as how to achieve it.
