Well Hamburger Helper, a playboy magazine is more harmful to a child than a semiautomatic rifle.
A semiautomatic rifle doesn't do anything to a child.
A semiautomatic rifle can be used to gun down innocent citizens in a crowded mall, or it can be used to kill "soldiers" in a civil war in Sudan who are looking to rape and slaughter women and children in a peaceful village.

it is a documented fact that many of the women that have lived and "served" at Hugh Heffner's mansion have committed suicide, gotten hooked on drugs to deal with depression, suffer from numerous and terrible sexually transmitted diseases, been forced to have abortions, suffered unmitigated humiliation in an effort to accomodate that man obsession with orgies, etc. etc. etc.
You my friend are handicapped by your ignorance and it is no wonder that you fear guns. You are clearly very childlike and therefore anything that suggests even the remotest possibility of danger terrifies you because you don't understand the practice of self restraint and personal discipline.
