i was 7, i waited all nite for my presents under the tree (as it was also my birthday), when the cloak alarm went off at precisely 6 am, i ran down to the christmas tree.....there was no tree or presents. You can imagine tht a kid's heart is broken totally.
I was shocked, then i saw my parents sitting down on the sofa looking at me. There my parents told me tht Santa was not real and how they could not affoard a christmas tree or any toy i requested all month. I still remember my father, mother and brother giving me their blessings and a small white polar bear (stuffed toy) as a christmas and birthday present (i still have it), i felt sad tht Santa was not real but i was even sadder whn my father didnt look me straight in the eyes, i could feel how much sad he was feeling. Being a failure to the family on christmas day, dissapointing the kids and the wife he loves, i guess maybe because of the failure tht within 3 years he together wth my brother made alot of money building a business empire which is so solid tht i believe tht if we all dont work for 7 maybe 8 generations we could still live like kings.

We could not affoard anything tht time, nevertheless, we were still together, my father, mother, brother and i. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Till today, even though i know Santa Clause is not real, i believe he does exists in everyone's heart, no matter how much people deny tht Santa is not real, every1 do help others on Christmas day, i have seen and realised tht christmas is not all about presents, a person helping another person is blessings in disguise, whts more better present than blessings from another?

BOY, the whole "he isn't real?" thing got played out fast! But I think I was about 12 or 13, my brothers told me early that he wasn't real but I didn't believe them. Then when I figured he was fake, I heard something on the roof that Christmas night!
Now knowing that "Santa" has to put together all the presents Christmas night and not the friggin elves, I WISH he were real!

My dear, Santa Clause is real. I grew up in a time and place where their was little money to feed us, let a lone money for gifts but there was always gifts under the tree. You see Santa was hid in my mother’s heart, weighting to jump out at just the right time. I was a great big kid before I realized we were poor, for no mater how bad it was their was always my mother’s love.

Santa Claus is as real as you want him to be. While there may or may not be a jolly man riding the world in a sleigh pulled by tiny reindeer, if you ask me, as long as parents and people love children enough to continue the tradition, he will always live in my heart, and in the hearts of children and youthful adults around the world. That makes him real enough for me.

I was 7 years old. I found out that out because I discovered the toys that I wanted in my mother's shopping bag. She made me write a letter to Santa Claus the week before she went shopping.
