Lets see, first of all from what you have told me -

#1 - You enjoy being distracted from reality for hours
#2 - You shouldn't be a paramedic if you HAVE to ask that question
#3 - You need to deal with real issues in your life

If you were a paramedic you wouldn't be asking such a bizarre question, they are dedicated to the job and the thought of how important they are in the medical profession

Are you volunteer? If so, most volunteers get to choose whether they want to go on a call or not. So, enjoy your football!

Are you paid? I bet your boss wouldn't appreciate your not going on a call just because you wanted to finish the game. At my job, that's a fireable offense (not that anyone would do that where I work).

So, get off your butt, and go save lives...

Umm ...No! Unless there are other people to handle the situation. Your getting paid to work. Not sit on your *** like everyone other fat american. Like anything that important is going to happen in the game, when your skills could be greatly needed. Dur! :P <3 K

No.
Resign, get a new job that doesn't mean you are a risk to other people's lives.
Then you can watch as much football as you wish.

here's a better answer - get sky plus or tivo and record the football then go out to your all and watch it later

or - get a new job!
