One only needs two tools in life, Duct tape and WD40.
When something moves and shouldn't I use duct tape. When something doesn't move but should, I use WD40.
I'm sure others will have alternative suggestions, but I apply all that is included in mine as part of a way to get through life.
Rev. Steven
An exception or addition might be velcro,,, the adhesive back variety.

I read in a book that the SAS carry a roll of duct tape. If someone gets shot then they stick it over the wound to stem the flow of blood!

when a hurricane is forecast you can use stick duct tape across the diagonals of your window glass to reduce the amount that comes into the room if the glass breaks. It works a bit like a laminated car windscreen.
