Does your father have Parkinsonism or Parkinson's? Parkinson's is easier to treat than Parkinsonism because of medicines that focus on Parkinson's disease. Parkinsonism is not Parkinson's. Its a movement disorder that shows symptoms like Parkinson's. I have Dystonia and Parkinsonism. I can treat the Dystonia, but the other is a problem. Bottom line, my well respected, top neurologist, movement disorder specialist at Cedars Sinai, said if you're going to get either one, better to get Parkinson's.

No cure yet, but there is much promise and progress in stem cell research. If you live in USA you probably know that President Bush vetoed that Bill from Congress. So now all of us who were praying that he wouldn't do that so we could stop suffering from the illnesses that Stem cells could cure...have no hope at all.
I'm sorry for your father.

I'm sorry for you and you dad.
My son-in-law has it too, we are trying to find a cure or even a better treatment for it. We have not found a cure yet.
When he takes his meds and does a lot of resting he does so much better. But when he works to many hours and forgets his meds he is a mess.
Good Luck

Im so sorry, its not ,but people have said that smoking wacky baccy can help ,I know it illeagle ,but who cares if its helping an illness ,,anyway I think so long as you only use it for personal use its normally ignored ,and anyway how they could take it away from a person who is useing it for this reason ,there would be pulic outrage,
