what kind of anti fog do goggles manufacturers use/spray that can last longer than those we spray which last for only an hour or so.

What is the correct method to spray anti fog onto swimming goggles so that the effect last longer,as good as when new.

An old diver's trick is to spit in them and wipe it around then rinse it off. It works and the spit is free!

note: never wipe inside of the goggles 'cos the anti-fog material will be removed.

To obtain the maximum benefit, keep lenses free from dirt and grease. After each use, wash your goggle gently in clear cold water. DO NOT wipe or rub the inside of the lens of the goggle. Use anti-fog drops such as "Speedo® Anti-fog" drops to prolong the life of the fog resistance.

I've heard mixture of glycerine and diluted dishwashing liquid will work as an anti-fog material ,too.

For longest lasting results, smear saliva inside the goggles BEFORE getting them wet.

you can always use anti-fog drops, but they don't seem to work very well. another method is to use diluted dishwasher soap, it really does work! and the old fashioned way- spit in 'em!
