How long does someone have to hold it in before they can poot infront of their partner? I have been waiting for my partner to do it first, but he hasn't. When do you know it is okay?

Seriously, I believe the most appropriate time is when you've reached a level of any relationship where you no longer care about your personal image being one of any sophistication or sound social awareness of sound social behavior. This answer presumes you mean the kind of farting that is indescriminate, maybe loud, no effort to go to the other room for a more controlled release, etc. And then again, if the significant other shares the same views, then between the two of you....it doesn't matter.

Some guys can be really chauvanistic about it n think its ok for them but u have to endure a belly ache.Try skirting around the subject n try to feel out what he thinks on the subject. Personally i told my bf (been together 9 years) that sorry but i'm human too which means i have to fart too. I still excuse myself when i do tho, doesn't hurt to be polite. lol

Whenever you feel comfortable enough. Personally I think at least a few weeks, if not months.
It is a special occasion - the first fart in a relationship. Friends should be invited. Even presents given.
What a romantic day. "Darling...remember the first time we farted in front of each other?"

Once in a while but just make sure it isn't all the time. If you can go to a different room or get away for the moment would be best. Now if your B/F is a redneck then go ahead and FART...

It is never okay to fart in front of your partner whether that partner is your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife as any given time or place. It is simply rude. Besides the first time it happens, this persons believes it is acceptable to do his/her farting under any condition and in front of whomsoever he chooses at any given time. Over a period of time, it becomes quite annoying, rude and real deal breaker.

I am assuming you are both human and humans have body functions that happen as a result of being human. If you have gas that needs out, do it. If he doesn't like it, dump him.
