Yes. Some people say that gays have different gender spirit in a an earthly body. For example: a lesbian's body has a man's spirit occupying a woman's body. Some say it's possible when a soul is being reincarnated.

Many times when people use this phrase they refer to someone with a woman's personality in a man's body. However, no such thing exists: truly, only men can inhabit mens' bodies, effeminate or manly irregardless.

Yes. Psychologically speaking some men believe they are woment born into a mans body. Same with some women who feel mentally and psychologically they should have been born male.

Yes. Gender is not a monolithic state, but a whole range of characteristics from physical to emotional. A person can have the physical attributes of one gender and the emotional characteristics of another. This is well documented.
