I say, no taxation without that you passed through a barrage of bullets to collect it.

Is that too long to be a slogan?

Sedition? Sedition is some kind of surreptitious attempt to undermine your government through some kind of allegiance to another government, or cause for personal gain.

Sedition is not outright rebellion against your government on the basis of some philosophical disagreement.

Jefferson strongly encouraged the latter, my friend.

YEah maybe a tad too long how about - Taxes, try and take it.

I understand the sentiment, but how would we pay for descent roads, fire hydrants, firemen, schools, post offices, and the all the other positive things are taxes go to. I know a lot of our tax dollars could be better spent......all I ask is how would we pay etc. as soon as someone figures that out I'll go on Walden's pond myself...
