Why not?If you worry that he has caller ID and don't want him to have your number, at least not right away, then call him from a payphone or use a calling card.Just stay safe and be careful. But, above all, have fun.

Sometimes you can only tell something about someone by the tone and sound of their voice. No matter what he says in his emails, you may hear his voice and realize he's a real ******, or a weirdo, or you might find out he's a really nice guy. If you don't call him you'll never know if any of those are true. If you plan on anything with this guy, you need to take a first step sometime. Just call him, what can it hurt?

No harm in calling him. He obviously wants you to if he gave you his number. If he seems creepy... stay away.

I met a girl online once... it was in an online game. After about 3 years I got back in touch with her through a weird set of circumstances and we ended up talking on the phone and I eventually met her. It started a long distance relationship that lasted 2 years. She turned out to be nuts.

My point is... go for it but if he lives far away be weary of starting a relationship... it's a VERY difficult thing to do.

Depends ! If you all have had decent conversations and chat and would like to chat on the phone, go for it. I would not geive a lot of personal information as in where you live exactly. Save that until this person has fully developed and earned your trust. But a simple phone conversation can not hurt.

p3mk13,
Examine your reasonings. Are you just out to talk? Are your real motives to have sex? Do you even think that there is a chance for a long term relationship? Do you really honestly think that you are a match? Have you ever misjudged a realtionship and had it go bad? If so, was it painful enough to avoid it happening again?

The phone number was given to you as an invitation to contact him. Don't be shy or hesitant to reach out and contact him. Remember, nothing beats a failure but a try.

Talk to him online for a while longer before calling him and be on the lookout for anything suspicious. Don't give him any personal info. If you think it's safe give him a call. Please be careful and be safe.

Why not? Its only a call. Just keep safe if you eventually decide to meet up.

if this guy really catches your interest to him, may may call him but if not why bother. make sure he not make foolishness against your becoming easy going to him. the interest of some guys to you is your wealth but not ; thgew desire of love and affection
