Dial-up is a rather slow connection. You will be able to do most things you can on higher speed connections but everything will load A LOT slower. For example, a normal sized MP3 might take 15-30 minutes to download with P2P programs. But I know people who can play Massively Multiplayer Online Games like World of Warcraft on dial-up, and they fare okay.

Popular companies for dial-up connection are Netscape, Netzero, and AOL.

Hope this helps.

you dont really want to do that dial up is verry slow but net zero is the cheapest but if your laptop hasan internal wireless card you might be able to get into someone or some busnesses wireless network, if you are traviling and are worred about not haveing any internet at your hotel most of the time there is a wireless network and if it doesnt have an internal wireless card go to the front desk and they will give you a print server...a wireless to lan thing or you could buy one at well just about anyware and if you have a sprint cell phone with internet acess theres a thing that goes in that slot on the side of your laptop that you wouldnt see on a desktop pc that will use your cellphones acount to acess the internet you will have to get this from sprint or i guess another carrer will have these too for there products

hope i helped you
