The best way to know is to take a pregnancy test. If your period is really 6 days late, there's a good chance you're pregnant.

If untill now all ur periods were regular and all was going ok, then this is likely to be the sign of a pregnancy. A pregnancy test wont be accurate at this stage. I had almost the same situation with my first pregnancy, only that the comming spots were light red and just for a day or two. I took the pregnancy test (which must be done first thing in the morning/first urine for better result), but it didnt show the right answer as it was way too early. I suggest you wait for a week more and then take a pregnancy test. Good luck.

You might be struggling through a very early term miscarriage. You might of experienced implantation but then because of strange hormones etc. you miscarry in what is just a rather heavy period. I would take a test just to make sure and if it's negative wait a week and test again. If you are still having the pain and cramps then go to your doctor. You could also be experiencing a tubal pregnancy so if you getting any pain that is stronger than your normal menstral cramps I would go to a doctor immediately.

Home pregnancy tests are virtually 100% reliable to someone who has kept an accurate record of their menstrual cycle. You can even do a test before your period is due. All the people who say they had periods throughout their pregnancy would have tested positive . A pregnancy could not be supported without a certain level of pregnancy hormones in the blood system...hence the presence of it in the urine. Yes I have had the symptoms you describe, but all these answers are no substitute for a proper diagnosis, they remain probabilities and supposition. Good wishes whatever the result!

At the begining of my pregnancy it always felt like I was about to get my period too. The light bleeding could be implantation bleeding and it usually lasts a few days. It is time to go get that test. Good luck with whatever you want =)

I am wondering if you have recently been under some stress. Stress is a b***h that can completely throw your whole body out of wack. If so, I would account it to that and just wait a couple more weeks. It may be too soon to test and that would be a waste of #14 for an EPT that would give you false results. Be patient is the best I can say for now. Or if you absolutely MUST know now, go ask your OB/GYN to do a blood test on you.

it sounds like It could be implantation bleeding although that is rare. In 2 weeks Hun I would take a test to find out. EVEN IF YOU start your period I would STILL take a test to make sure! You CAN have your period and STILL be preg. BEST WISHES!

Home tests are about $10, not much for piece of mind. You should just take the test. Good Luck
