Windows >ME installs some free online games in the programs menu like checkers, various card games but players don't stick out a game and you find yourself playing the computer. AOL has a pretty nifty games section and even live tournaments, so I suppose Netscape.com might offer similiar features. Be aware, AOL Games automatically loads java files that stay on your system so your computer better be fast or you'll get booted.

i use pogo you don't have to pay if you don't want to but you can play poker and such for free you can find it at www.pogo.com
