I use to like A. Carter, I always thought he was a goop player. He Came to Vancouver saying that we wanted to prove himself and it wasn't about the money in 2005. So what happened?

He proved that he is a good RW, now it's gone to his head and he wants $2.5MM for 3 years. The argument is did the Sedin (who came into there own last year) make him or did he make the Sedins? I believe its the latter. I think the Sedins who took awhile to develop made Carter and all he had to do is stand in front of the net pick up the garbage. Hey Anson you just blew the best thing that you had...sorry for the rant just how I feel.

He may haved proved himself last season, but he still not worth 2.5 mil. WHat team in their right mind would pay a third line forward that much. Give him another good year and he will be worth that much, but right now he is not worth that, He should have stayed in Vancover, the team that i know of thta was interested in him was Toronto, thats it, so he may end up in Europe this season. I like him, but he needs to come back from LaLa Land and play some hockey.

I think Carter basically did exactly what he said he would do. He proved himself on the ice and helped push the Sedin twins to the next level. That was an awesome line that worked really well together. Now the man wants to be paid. What's the problem? Pay the man.

I agree, the Sedin twins made Carter. Carter did not create the Sedins. Also remember Carter is the one who has been in like 3 different teams in a span of a couple of years. he should have been smart and stuck with the Canucks.

I stay in l. a. l. a. land while i prefer to flee the realities of life. I day dream approximately being prosperous, having the appropriate kin, I fake that am Maria from The Sound of song or that I actual have a impressive interest. this might seem stupid yet while yet for a 2nd i'm in yet another place or time then i'm happy. how many people accessible at an identical time as in trouble-free college has regarded exterior the window at an identical time as in college and wanted they have been exterior purely to have the instructor then call on you? Being in l. a. l. a. is high quality as long as you do no longer have faith what you dream is actual.

When you use the word "latter" it refers to the last point you made. In your case, the last point was that Carter made the Sedins, but then you went on to say how the Sedins made Carter. Which is it? I think you wanted to use the word "former" which refers to the first point you made which coincides with what you went on to talk about.

I think Carter made the Sedin twins. Carter is a good player, a team player. Whoever picks him up will be glad to have him he will improve the team.

He's pretty goop, goop, goop.

I like the hip daddy-o but he misread the market. Too bad as even garbage goals scored by someone who skates very poorly still count. Tim Kerr, Dave Andreychuk and even Phil Esposito will attest to that.

I use to like Carter when he was in Edmonton. It just proves that he cares only about the money now and not the game.

I hope no teams pick him up and let'em go play in Europe for a few thousand dollars.
